4. Alberto Moreno

Moreno has probably been the best of Liverpool's summer signings so far this season- admittedly he has made two bad errors against Manchester City and Newcastle, but he's still done well- and he impressed greatly at the Bernabeu. He didn't look daunted by the occasion; if anything he looked almost too confident in his own ability, attempting nutmegs in dangerous areas of the pitch. The 22-year-old left-back was like the Tasmanian Devil at times, speeding down the left flank at pace, and leaping into committed challenges. His work-rate was terrific, and he kept the superb James Rodriguez relatively quiet all evening. The former Sevilla star is far from the finished article yet, but considering his tender years, there is a huge amount of potential there.
