Southampton
Kelvin Davis: Came smartly off his line to thwart Ramires and Eden Hazard. Tipped over from the Brazilian later in the first half. Deceived by a deflection for Torres's goal and could do little about the quality of finishes from Willian and Oscar. 5/10. Calum Chambers: Attack was this youngster's best form of defence. Deflected Oscar's cross-shot onto the far post in the build-up to the Torres goal. Oscar also flew past him en route to making the second goal for Willian. Chambers had played admirably until the changes paid dividends for Chelsea. 5.5/10. Dejan Lovren: Survived an early collision with his own teammate Fonte. Had a shot blocked early in the second half. Made a rather desperate and futile attempt to Oscar rounding off a handsome Blues victory late on. Part of a back four that let in three goals. 4/10. Jose Fonte: Turned Torres shot behind for a corner early on. Looked to score himself during a second half goalmouth scramble. Portuguese player could not handle the Brazilian flair and Hazard's through-ball as the high line bit Southampton. 4/10. Luke Shaw: Looked bright in the first half, but subbed at half time through injury. 5.5/10. Click next for more Southampton player ratings.
