Spurs 0-1 Crystal Palace - 6 Things We Learned

1. Welcome Back Yala

When Yannick Bolasie ran off to celebrate Lee Chung-yong's last minute stunner against Stoke in December, no one could have imagined that simple act would lead to him missing the next two months of football and Palace going on the kind of run that sees managers lose their jobs and teams get relegated. His return against Spurs was as welcome for the psychological uplift it gave the club as it was for the side getting one of its best players back. It was only a fifteen minute cameo, but one stunning run from the half way line that led to Connor Wickham prodding in from an off-side position showed exactly what Palace have been missing. The club will be hoping he can shake off any rustiness as soon as possible. I can only assume he's been banned from celebrating goals.
