Spurs New Manager: 10 Replacements For Tim Sherwood
6. Massimiliano Allegri
Up until January of this year, Massimiliano Allegri was the boss of Italian giants AC Milan, but he was sacked after a 4-3 defeat to relative minnows Sassuolo, which saw the San Siro team in 11th position in the league and 30 points behind leaders Juventus at the time. He immediately became a surprise name linked to Spurs. The 46 year old had been in charge of Milan for four years, winning their first league title since 2004 in the process, and had previously managed smaller teams like Cagliari, Sassuolo and Grosseto. Allegri's teams tend to play an exciting, quality attacking style of football - something that Spurs are strongly associated with - and in that sense he looks like a decent option, but his lack of familiarity with the Premier League gives him a disadvantage and he will likely be well down the pecking order when it comes to potentially landing the role in the White Hart Lane hot-seat.
