Spurs New Manager: 10 Replacements For Tim Sherwood

3. Rafa Benitez

There are three names who are being relentlessly linked to Spurs of late and one of those is former Liverpool and Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez. The Spaniard is currently enjoying a spell in charge of Serie A club Napoli, but has reportedly suggested that he would be interested in a return to the Premier League and would be willing to join the White Hart Lane club. Benitez has a reputation as a hard-to-please and ruthless manager, but his credentials are undeniable. He has bags of experience around the world (including additional spells in charge of the likes of Inter Milan and Valencia) and, importantly, in the Premier League. He led Liverpool to an FA Cup victory and a Champions League victory, while he took Chelsea to Europa League glory in his short stint in charge there. Spurs could do a lot worse than Benitez and, if he is a genuine candidate for the job, Spurs fans should be excited at the prospect, because he tends to do well wherever he goes.
