Spurs Transfer Deadline Day: 10 Major Deals That Could Happen
5. Yevhen Konoplyanka To Spurs
Ukrainian international winger Yevhen Konoplyanko has been on Spurs' radar since he played against them for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk a year ago. The tricky attacker - who also happens to have a few goals in him - is persistently linked with the club and this transfer window has been no different. He is out of contract in the summer and Dnipro may be tempted to cash in on him beforehand (despite reports to the contrary) and, if Spurs were to sign him for a modest fee this January, it would be a deal reminiscent of the one which saw Lewis Holtby join the club in 2013. Konoplyanko is 25 and can't be festering in the Ukrainian league for much longer and, with the likes of Liverpool, Everton, Inter Milan and Roma also reportedly interested in his signature, Spurs should do all they can to bring him in as soon as possible to add more quality and more goals to their squad.
