Spurs Transfer Deadline Day: 10 Major Deals That Could Happen
4. Emmanuel Emenike To Spurs
There's no doubt whatsoever that Spurs need another striker who is capable of regularly scoring goals. Harry Kane has done a great job this season, scoring eighteen in total, but the only other remotely regular goalscorers have been midfielders Christian Eriksen and Nacer Chadli, who have scored ten and nine respectively. Kane's fellow strikers, Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor, have only bagged six between them - and that simply isn't good enough - so Emmanuel Emenike could be the answer. The Fenerbahce striker has been linked with a move to White Hart Lane this month, with Chelsea and Liverpool also credited with an interest. The 27 year old has indicated that he is open to a move to the Premier League and has said as much in the last few days. He has only scored two goals in fourteen matches in the Turkish Super League but his scoring record prior to this season has been exceptional. If he can regain his best form, the Nigerian international would be a top signing for the North London club.
