Spurs Transfers: 10 DREAM Signings Tim Sherwood Could Make

1. Javier Hernandez (Man Utd)

One final option for Tottenham up front is Manchester United's out-of-favour Javier Hernandez. Hernandez has had to settle for a bit-part role at Old Trafford this season with the likes of Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck all ahead of him in the pecking order. As such the Mexican, known as 'Chicharito' - Little Pea - has only started in four Premier League games this season with the remainder of his appearances coming from the bench. And he has even less chance of getting into David Moyes's side now that the Red Devils have signed Juan Mata, and Rooney and van Persie have returned to full fitness. Hernandez hinted recently that he could quit United to seek more regular first team football in a World Cup year, and that Tottenham could offer. According to ITV, Spurs have made a bid for Chicharito and it's one that makes a lot of sense. Hernandez's predatory finishing and work-rate would be welcomed at White Hart Lane while United simply don't need him anymore. Who do you think Spurs need to sign in the remaining hours of the January transfer window? Share your thoughts below in the comments thread.
