Spurs Transfers: 11 Signings Mauricio Pochettino Must Make Immediately

2. Romelu Lukaku

Current Club: Chelsea Going back to Spurs' undeniable need for a proven Premier League goalscorer, long-term target Romelu Lukaku could finally make the move to the club if Pochettino comes in and wants to make the team his own. He has been strongly linked to the White Hart Lane club of late and he would be a fantastic signing for them. Having scored 17 Premier League goals in the 2012-13 season for West Bromwich Albion, Lukaku scored another 14 for Everton in the season that has just finished and, remarkably, he is still only 21 years of age. The striker is deemed surplus to requirements at parent club Chelsea - with Jose Mourinho not a fan of Lukaku - and could be available for an affordable sum this summer. Having been called up to Belgium's World Cup squad, a good performance from Lukaku in Brazil could increase his fee substantially and also increase the number of teams interested in his signature, so Spurs and Pochettino might need to move fast to get their man.
