3. Allowing Assou-Ekotto To Leave On Loan

assou ekotto Danny Rose is untried in a team aiming for a top four spot in the Premier League, so to allow Benoit Assou-Ekotto to leave on loan for a Championship club, leaving Spurs with only Rose and Ezekiel Fryers as outright left backs, was absolute madness. In my opinion, Assou-Ekotto is the better player for starters, but that's irrelevant. The fact is that his departure has left Spurs with a massive weak spot in both their team and squad as a whole, despite the influx of new signings. Had Spurs signed a top class left back in the summer transfer window, this wouldn't be an issue but, given that they didn't, it really is. And on that note...
