Spurs Transfers: 5 Players They Must Sign

1. Isco (Real Madrid)

Few teams on the planet would turn down the chance to sign Spanish playmaker Isco.

As Real Madrid make goo-goo eyes at Tottenham's Christian Eriksen, speculation is rife that Los Blancos would be prepared to offer Isco as a makeweight in any such move for one of Spurs' plentiful former Ajax men.

With Zinedine Zidane keen to shake-up his midfield - those rumours of moves for Eriksen and Manchester United's Paul Pogba refusing to go away - the Real Madrid boss, according to The Evening Standard, is keen to unload Isco if it means he can bring in one of his current transfer targets.

From a Spurs point of view, Isco would be a marvellous addition regardless of whether they offload Eriksen or not. With 38 international caps to his name, 27-year-old Isco is one of those players who could dictate play for Spurs - either from a deep-sitting midfield role, or in a more advanced attacking position supplying quality through-balls for Harry Kane to latch on to.

Madrid seem to value Isco at around the €75 million mark but, as mentioned, Spurs could likely demand the midfielder and cash if they were to sell Christian Eriksen to the Bernabeu outfit.
