1. Lisandro Lopez
Spurs have just wrapped up the
£26 million signing of Roberto Soldado but their pursuit of a new striker doesn't end there. The Londoner's are now expected to make a move for Lyon's Lisandro Lopez. The purchasing of Soldado solves half of the Emmaneul Adebayor and Jermain Defoe problem but Villas-Boas wants to replace both of them and will do so by
making a move for Lopez. The 30-year-old only has one year left on his contract in France and was linked with a move to Tottenham back in January. Capable of playing as an outright striker or on the wing, it is this versatility that will leave Spurs well-covered in the eventuality of Gareth Bale's sale to Real Madrid. Lopez scored 11 Ligue 1 goals last season and 14 across all competitions, and the Argentina international could form a potentially-intriguing partnership with compatriot Angel Di Maria at White Hart Lane.
