Sunday's early kick off will see two teams both hot off the heels of a Europa League qualifying round game lock horns, in Swansea and Tottenham. Whilst Spurs started their Premier League campaign with three points and the Swans fell short against Manchester United, how could Laudrup's men get back to winning ways in the league?
5. Exploit The Wings
Both Tottenham and Swansea implement very similar styles. Both full backs often joining the wingers in attack, due to these attacking responsibilities the wings could easily be exploited on the counter attack. With Danny Rose, a player who has been known to play on the wing as much as at full back, seemingly inheriting the left back position from Benoit Assou-Ekotto the left flank could be a main source of attack for Swansea. The pace of either Wayne Routledge, Pablo Hernandez, Nathan Dyer or even Alejandro Pozuelo could really damage Spurs if Rose, or Kyle Walker on the opposite wing, are caught out on the attack. Thursday's game against Petrolul Ploiesti demonstrated how much Swansea rely on their wing play with a plethora of chances being spawned by the pace and trickery of their ball playing wingers.
