1. Roberto Martinez
Roberto Martinez did his CV a world of good by landing the FA Cup as Wigan Athletic sensationally prevailed over Manchester City in the Wembley Final earlier this month. The Spaniard now finds himself
among the favourites for the Stoke job and will hold crunch talks with Latics chairman Dave Whelan over today and tomorrow as he aims to thrash out his future. With Wigan now relegated to the Championship, it remains to be seen if Martinez will be willing to stick around at the DW Stadium for another season and the lure of an automatic return to Premier League management could prove too tempting for him to resist. Now would seem as good a time as any to bow out at Wigan after landing the club their first ever major piece of silverware and if he were to depart, fans could have very few complaints. Martinez has all the right tools to manage in the Premier League and would be a popular choice with supporters, as he plays with much more offensive tactics than Pulis. He could help remove Stoke's unwanted tag of being an unattractive long ball team.
