Sunderland 0-2 Hull: Player Ratings

Hull City

Steve Harper: The former Newcastle man had little to do but was alert to save well from Johnson at the end of the first half and from a deflected Ki effort early in the second half. Will be pleased with a clean sheet. 6/10 Leroy Rosenoir (sub Koren): Enjoyed great success down the flank, overlapped Elmohamady well and put in a lot of dangerous crosses. Withdrawn at half time, presumably through injury. 7/10 David Meyler: The ex Sunderland man was given a good reception but was largely wasteful in possession. Had one clear opportunity towards the end of the second half but blazed well over the bar. 5/10 Curtis Davies: Coped well with Sunderland's attackers but picked up a silly yellow card in the second half. 5/10 Maynor Figueroa: The defender's shot took a wicked deflection of Vergini and looped up kindly for Jelavic to head in the second. Enjoyed the freedom of marauding forward on the flanks. 7/10 Read on for Hull's midfield and attack ratings...
