26 year-old Austin has scored 216 career goals in just 350 games, and recently scored 18 goals in the 2014/15 Premier League campaign for QPR. He has since been linked with a switch to both Tottenham and Newcastle, with neither supposedly willing to meet the £15 millon asking price. Though a new contract is on the table for Austin at QPR, he may just be worth the money they're demanding for his services. £15 million for a natural English goalscorer at the peak of his powers doesn't seem too outrageous, especially when you think of the money Sunderland have just received from Crystal Palace for Connor Wickham. Austin's location come the end of the window is still unknown, though the more desperate clubs get, the more likely it is that someone will cough up the full asking price. Why not Sunderland?
