Sunderland have already been very active in the summer transfer window but there is still work to do if Gus Poyet wants to build on the great escape from last season. The Uruguayan has secured seven new players and extended the contracts of Seb Larsson and himself since the transfer window opened at the beginning of August, but that is not yet enough, and the question inevitably arises of who else could be joining to bolster the squad in terms of depth and quality for the new season?
