5. "I cant make a Chihuahua into a Rottweiler" Rant
Remember Manchester United legend Eric Cantona's inexplicable rant about trawlers and seagull's following his karate-kick madness on a Crystal Palace fan in 1995? Well Paolo Di Canio went a step further in the 'philosophy' department following Swindon's 2-0 loss to Macclesfield in September last year. In a post-match interview, Di Canio showed everyone just how deep a thinker he was with this bizarre dog-based analogy:
"With some players, if he has a Chihuahua character, I cant make a Chihuahua into a Rottweiler. He could be a proud Chihuahua but he remains a Chihuahua. So many players at the moment are Chihuahuas away from home. This is the truth."
Clearly a reference to some of his players not being as "tough" as he would have liked, this quote still gives Cantona a run for his money in the philosophy department.
