West Brom New Manager - 5 Replacements For Steve Clarke
2. Martin Jol
Martin Jol is also in the frame for the vacant West Brom job after being sacked himself from Fulham. The Dutchman was axed by the Cottagers and immediately replaced by Rene Meulensteen at the beginning of the month and is on the lookout for a new club. Like Di Matteo, Jol is a free agent and there would be no red tape to struggle through were Albion to make an approach for the former Ajax boss, which is a bonus. Jol played for the Baggies in the early 1980s, following stints with Bayern Munich and FC Twente in a distinguished playing career. He is currently one of the bookmaker's favourites for the vacancy, though it remains to be seen if he is prepared to throw himself straight back into management so soon after leaving Fulham.
