West Brom v QPR - Match Preview

Venue: The Hawthorns Kick-Off: 3pm West Brom have had an impressive start to the season under new manager Steve Clarke, and their opponents this week will not be looking forward to their visit to the Hawthorns as they currently prop up the rest of the table. It appears that so many signings in a short amount of time may have had a detrimental affect on Mark Hughe's squad, and after his promise to the fans of not being involved in a relegation dog-fight this time around, he will be hoping that those words do not come back to haunt him. It does not look pretty for QPR at the minute, with the team having conceded the second most goals (13) behind Southampton (18) so far this term, and added with the weight of history against them - Hughes has never won a match at the Baggies as a manager - the omens do not look good. West Brom fans are riding on the crest of a wave as they sit up in 6th place, and with a 100% home record to boast, including an opening day demolition of Liverpool, expectations will be high that they can pull another win out of the bag.
