West Bromwich Albion take on Premier League opponents Norwich City in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday afternoon, with both teams in confident mood in the competition after breezing past the third round. West Brom will be understandably worrying about their midweek trip to Craven Cottage to face Fulham in the league, so may not field their strongest starting eleven today. The Midlands club played well in their third round tie with Cardiff, which was also at the Hawthorns, as they beat the Welsh side 4-2 thanks to a hat-trick from Simon Cox and a strike by Peter Odemwingie. The side's form has been inconsistent of late: WDLLLW, but they did manage to end their horrible run at the Britannia Stadium last weekend with a much deserved victory over Stoke City. West Brom reached the FA Cup semi-final a few years back but lost to Portsmouth 1-0. Many at the club are confident they can have a good FA Cup run this campaign, a win tomorrow afternoon would really help. The Canaries' last visit to the Hawthorns was a few weeks ago, and they won 2-1 courtesy of goals from Andrew Surman and Steve Morison. So they know what Roy Hodgson's men are all about. New signing Jonny Howson, who joined from Leeds United in the week, is likely to be handed his debut for the club. The side are having a wonderful season in the Premier League and they should be looking to take their good league form into the FA Cup.

Team News

It's likely that Nicky Shorey will step in at right-back for the injured Billy Jones, with Craig Dawson and Gareth McAuley holding the backline together. Paul Scharner, who hasn't featured for the Baggies for their last few games, is still trying to recover from injury. Canaries boss Paul Lambert is set to give new signing Jonny Howson his debut in centre midfield with in-form strikers Steve Morison and Grant Holt leading the line.
