West Ham 1-3 Arsenal: Premier League Player Ratings

West Ham

Adrian: Saved Cazorla's powerful header and made wonderful double stop second half to deny the same player and Ozil. Beaten by a shot that came through defenders' legs and perhaps should have done better. Parried from Podolski at a tight angle, but picked the ball out of the net three times and that belied a promising performance. 6/10.

Joey O'Brien: Booked for grabbing Gibbs's shirt. Headed wide in the second half at 1-0. Lucky not to be sent off moments later. Subbed. 4.5/10.

James Collins: Made two decent interceptions, but forced off in the first half with a calf strain. Subbed. 5.5/10. James Tomkins: Failed to cut out Podolski cross for Walcott's second goal. Had to switch from left centre back to right centre back when Collins came off. Defensive reorganization did not do him any favours. 4.5/10. George McCartney: Had to move into central defence when Collins injured. Occupied by Giroud in build-up to Podolski's goal. 5/10. Mohamed Diame: Stung the palms of Szczesny with a speculative long range effort. Gave Hammers midfield some impetus, but outshone by Noble. 5/10. Mark Noble: Saw a free kick palmed away by Szczesny and had West Ham on the front foot early on. 6/10. Click next for more West Ham player ratings.
