Where Are They Now: Jürgen Klopp's First Liverpool XI

10. Adam Lallana

Adam Lallana, along with Dejan Lovren and Rickie Lambert, was one of the handful of players Liverpool brought over from Southampton with the money they received from the Luis Suarez transfer. He was easily the best signing of the bunch, and it's not even close.

He has always offered a spark when playing for Liverpool, and though his career has been somewhat dampened by injury after injury, he was still able to make a lasting impression, contributing to both the Champions League and Premier League wins.

He enjoyed his best years with Liverpool between 2015 and 2017, but saw significantly less time on the pitch in the last few years. At the end of the 2019-20 season, Lallana's contract expired, as he left Liverpool to pursue his career with Brighton and Hove Albion, and there isn't a Reds fan who doesn't wish the playmaker the absolute best for his future in the game.

It's a shame that injury troubles limited his playing time for Liverpool, but he leaves a legend in his own right, never failing to put in maximum effort, and changing any game he was part of. Brighton have picked up a very good player, who could seriously improve the team if he can stay fit.
