World Cup 2014: 5 Reasons Why England Don't Have A Chance Of Winning

1. Brazil Are The Clear Favourites

Neymar Let's face it. Brazil's record at home is pretty imperious. As hosts of the 2014 World Cup, A Seleção are pretty much the nailed-on favourites, especially when you take into account they have lost just once on home soil in the last half a century. With players like Neymar, Hulk, Fred, Alexander Pato, David Luiz, Oscar and Paulinho, Luiz Felipe Scolari's Samba Stars are going to take some beating. Do not let the fact they are currently 9th in the World Cup rankings fool you, they proved their mettle with the resounding 3-0 defeat of Spain en route to winning the Confederations Cup earlier this summer, if you needed any reminder as to how good they are. Brazil haven't failed to get past the quarter final stage of the World Cup since 1990 when they were eliminated in the last 16, and have been champions in two of the last five tournaments. And England, along with everyone else, will probably have to bow to their majesty come next summer.
