Doctor Who: 5 Ways To Bring Back Paul McGann For More On Screen Adventures

1. A Spin Off Eighth Doctor TV Show Of New Adventures

8th Doctor Own Show Now this is my preferred option. Two TV shows a year. (Or three if the Paternoster Gang get their own show). Peter Capaldi's Doctor and Clara travelling round the universe post Time War. And Paul McGann's Eighth Doctor travelling around the universe in a time where the great war between the Daleks and Timelords had not yet happened. With this, there are two ways this can be done. Start with the Eighth Doctor on the Tardis with one of his Big Finish Companions. (I know Sheridan Smith's Lucie Miller the best so she would be my choice). Perhaps even have a different tact to Nu Who with multiple-episode stories in the vein of Classic Who? Alternatively, a new companion sometime outside the Big Finish companion eras? All fresh and new with the odd Big Finish companion cameo here or there? The possibilities for a Paul McGann Eighth Doctor TV series are endless and worthy of an article all on their own. So I'll leave you to ponder on how that might turn out (in this dream world where the BBC budget is endless of course!). What are your thoughts? Should we be looking back? Or, the memorable continuity-fest that was 'Night Of The Doctor' aside, do you feel Paul McGann has had his time on screen? A whole series or the occasional appearance? Please let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
