We received Matthew Etherington in similar style to Zamora, coming as part of a deal that saw Frederic Kanoute go to Tottenham. What we received was a pacy winger with a great crossing ability. Etherington won Hammer Of The Year in his first season with West Ham and like Zamora, he was pivotal to our promotion, and supplied a number of goals and assists in the process.
