10 Best Premier League Football Kits For 2014/15 Season

5. Man Utd Third

It looks as though Manchester United have taken a leaf out of their "noisy neighbour's" book with their third choice kit. Like City, United will don a dark blue strip this season and like City, their design is based on a famous cup win. With two different tones of blue, this strip is inspired by the 1968 European Cup final triumph over Benfica at Wembley Stadium. Fans will also recognise the colour as the Red Devils have historically worn blue kits in the past - famously throughout the 1980s. Older supporters may also conjure up images of Sir Matt Busby when they see this, as Busby and co. starred in that win over Benfica as United won their first ever European crown. Of course, United aren't in Europe this season thanks to a horrendous 2013-14 campaign under David Moyes, but at least fans can remember the good old days of yesteryear while Louis van Gaal attempts to get the club back in the big leagues. Supporters can expect to see their side don this blue kit in the FA Cup and Capital One Cup.
