10 Football Records That Will Never Be Broken
1. Youngest Ever Professional Appearance
Every football-loving child dreams of making it as a professional. Obviously, not many realise their dream. However, for those who do, no-one could ever imagine making their first appearance as a 12 year-old, but that's exactly what happened for Bolivian youngster Mauricio Baldivieso in 2009.
Most people his age will be playing video games based on the sport, but three days before his 13th birthday, Baldivieso, playing for Aurora in Bolivia's first division, was called from the subs bench to take to the field against La Paz. Unfortunately for the pre-teen, it wasn't to be the memorable debut he'd have hoped for as the older players gave him a hard introduction to the men's game.
The youngest player to represent an English team as a senior is Reuben Noble-Lazarus. In 2008, the winger was handed his professional debut by Barnsley against Ipswich Town at the age of 15 years and 45 days. Less than 24 hours after his appearance, Noble-Lazarus was back in school studying for his GCSE's.
