10 Liverpool Players Who Should Fear For Their Future
8. Jose Enrique
Jose Enrique has played 94 minutes of Premier League football this season, having been left out of the squad entirely on six occasions. Having spent much of last season sidelined with a knee injury, the former Newcastle left-back has fallen down the pecking order at Liverpool, with Brendan Rodgers having shelled out £12 million for Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno in the summer. Considering last seasons impressive Jon Flanagan is nearing a return to fitness, it looks like the Spaniards path to the first-team could be barricaded even further, leaving the Liverpool hierarchy likely to cash in on him before losing him on a free transfer during the summer of 2016. The former Newcastle fan favourite will be 29 years old in two months, and with Moreno cementing that left-back position through a series of confident and assured performances, it certainly looks like Enriques days at Anfield are numbered.
