Jonathan Obika was one of those players who was clearly never going to make it as a first team player at White Hart Lane - and yet he lasted for six years at Spurs, finally leaving on a permanent basis in the month he turned 24 years old. Obika had no less than eleven loan spells away from the club, never playing any higher than the Championship and never particularly impressing. It was September of 2014 when he departed White Hart Lane, moving to Swindon Town in League One for a fee rumoured to be around £200,000. In his time at Spurs, he made a mere four first team appearances - never appearing in the Premier League and only appearing once from the start of a game. He never found the back of the net for the club.
