10 Players You Completely Forgot Played For Manchester United
1. Dion Dublin
A signing made by Sir Alex Ferguson, who splashed out £1m on the then young Cambridge City striker, it's easy to forget Dublin played for United given his reputation with clubs in the Midlands.
Dublin made his name not with United but with Coventry City, where he became something of a club legend after signing for the Sky Blues after never really getting going at Old Trafford.
Only a handful of appearances and goals are all Dublin has to show from his time with Ferguson's United, but the experience obviously served him well given the career he had.
His spell with Coventry was filled with goals while his next move to Aston Villa also proved fruitful as he became the main man at the top of the pitch for the Villans.
The goals did start to dry up Dublin in his later years, although a late flurry in a spell with Norwich City showed he still very much knew where the net was.
A quality and often under-appreciated striker, Dublin remarkably finds himself presenting on Homes Under the Hammers nowadays.
