10 Premier League Transfers That Won't Happen This Summer
6. Arturo Vidal To Man Utd
The 'will-he-won't-he' transfer saga of Arturo Vidal to Manchester United has been rumbling on for months and gives even the Ross and Rachel storyline in Friends a run for its money. Rumours have persistently linked Vidal with a move to United over the past few weeks but as of yet nothing has come of them. And perhaps they never will. Apparently, Juventus gave the Red Devils a cut-off point to sign Vidal and that expired on August 2nd. Any rational person would then think that was an end to it. Oh no. According to the Metro, another somewhat convenient "deadline" to get any deal done has been generously put in place by the Italians, and United now have until this Friday to procure the Chilean's services. United infamously missed out on the majority of their top transfer targets last summer with the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Leighton Baines slipping through their net and fans could be set for more disappointment with the club's move for Vidal looking fanciful at best. With the Red Devils hoping to wrap up a deal for Marcos Rojo this week, it would seem unlikely they'll have the time to sign Vidal as well. But maybe Juve will give them another deadline for next Wednesday afternoon.
