10 Problems Only Football Fans Will Understand

9. The Half Time Toilet Rush

It's one of the age old questions when attending the game; if you need the toilet at half- time, when do you go? If everyone goes at the whistle the backlog will be worse than ever, most people tend to go about five minutes before the half but that is now quickly becoming the busiest time of the whole 90 minutes. Decades ago, before health and safety laws and all that legislation was passed, men on the stands would just go where they were stood. I know how disgusting that sounds, and it's probably the best idea in football that it was stopped, but lets face it, it was more convenient. There are so many disadvantages to many many urinals all lined up, doing your business while rubbing shoulders with strangers can be, lets say off putting but perhaps the biggest problem with the Half- time toilet rush, the fact that you may be stuck in line too long and miss kick off for the second half. So how do you resolve this issue? Well there's two simple ways to get around it: Just accept it's going to happen, make your peace and do what has to be done. Learn to last 90 minutes without needing a whizz.
