Old Trafford's current capacity of 75,811 makes it the biggest club stadium in England. The Theatre of Dreams has undergone expansion work several times over the years to cope with the demands of more and more fans wanting to come and watch the club, and continually hits average attendances of close to full capacity.

Manchester City now play their matches at the Etihad Stadium after making the move from Maine Road in 2003. Originally named the City of Manchester Stadium, it was titled the Etihad shortly after the club was taken over by The Abu Dhabi United Group in 2008.

Appeasing sponsors is something which will always rankle with football fans, especially when it threatens to take over the identity of their club. United are no strangers to sponsorship deals particularly with Ed Woodward pulling the strings, but it is unthinkable that Old Trafford would ever be renamed. Although the Etihad is an impressive ground, City have a long way to go before fans can truly call it home.
