10 Spurs Players Who Should Fear For Their Future

5. Paulinho

''I always want to play. I understand the team rotation because that۪s how it works here, but I am not feeling well or comfortable. I want to be present, I want to play. The language is the most complicated thing as I am lazy about studying. I am learning little by little, but I don۪t understand everything.۪۪ - Paulinho, March 2014.
Signed as a £17 million recruit from Corinthians in the summer of 2013, Brazilian midfielder Paulinho has found life to be a struggle at White Hart Lane. Having made 37 appearances in all competitions last season, he expressed his dismay at boss Tim Sherwood€™s decision to rotate him. He will not have appreciated missing out on a place in the international squad for World Cup in Brazil during the summer, possibly citing his lack of regular game-time at Spurs as a catalyst. This season, he finds himself stuck in purgatory under Mauricio Pochettino. He has played just 29 minutes of Premier League football, and has found himself left in the wilderness. While Pochettino has refuted claims that the 26 year old could be returning to Brazil, one would wonder just how much longer the Brazilian will put up with sitting in the stands each week.
