10 Strikers Who Newcastle Should Sign Instead Of Charlie Austin

3. Seydou Doumbia

Age: 28 Club: Roma (signed from CSKA Moscow in January 2015) Nationality: Ivorian Estimated Market Value: £10 million (or loan) League Apps (2014-15): 19 League Goals (2014-15): 9 Roma are looking to offload some of their stars in order to bring in enough funds to place a bid for Manchester City's Edin Dzeko. Seydou Doumbia is currently being linked to West Ham United and is a fantastic talent who has been neglected in Rome. The striker scored 61 goals in 95 games for CSKA Moscow and has grabbed 17 goals in Europe since 2010. Doumbia has pace, lethal dribbling skills and strong shooting ability - he would be much more of an asset to Newcastle United than Charlie Austin would be if they're looking to play counter-attacking football next season. The Ivorian forward, who has been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool in recent year, has better movement on and off the ball than the QPR forward and would be available at a cheaper price.
