Underrated.

Frequently this season Sakho has thundered into challenges and defended his goal with all his heart, yet one area where he’s received criticism is for his ball retention. Somewhat surprisingly to many, Sakho boasts a very decent 90% pass success rate. He’s perhaps the latest player to be unfairly judged by fans who watch Match of the Day alone.

Like many other players featured in this list, Sakho rarely features on highlights, aside from if he’s been involved in an error, meaning his contributions often go overlooked.

He’s a much better player than he’s given credit for.
