If Leicester are to stay up this season, they will owe a huge thanks to the tireless work ethic of Jamie Vardy.

He terrorised Manchester United's defence in Leicester’s 5-3 win back in September, and his work rate in the final few furlongs of the season has set the tone for what is surely now Premier League survival.

Even when the Foxes struggled for much of the season, Vardy continued to give his all in the hope that the team might earn the points their play so often warranted.

Leicester’s run of six wins out of seven has potentially added them to the list of the greatest escapes ever, with their achievement possibly the best in recent times.

Vardy only has four goals to his name, but his tally of eight assists, coupled with his harrying of defenders shows he’s all about the team’s result.

What a warrior!
