Even the world's best player can have an off day. Cristiano Ronaldo was recently crowned world player of the year after scooping the coveted Ballon d'Or and has scored a remarkable 34 goals in 32 appearances for Real Madrid this season. But rewind seven years and Ronaldo was having a hard time putting the ball in the back of the net from six yards out for Manchester United. In November 2006, Ronaldo bundled over from point blank range in a Premier League game against Sheffield United, with the ball appearing to cannon off his kneecap. It didn't matter. Wayne Rooney scored a brace in a 2-1 win for the Red Devils and Ronaldo scores more than he misses these days...
