1. Yoan Gouffran Finally Proves Why He Is Picked In The Newcastle First Team
Anyone who has watched Newcastle United over the last year-and-a-half will be in agreement that Yoan Gouffran has done absolutely nothing to deserve his place in The Magpies' team. However, both Alan Pardew and John Carver both kept picking him, as he continued to prove to be arguably the most pointless player in United's recent history. However, the reason why the Frenchman has repeatedly been picked over the last season-and-a-half has now been revealed as he actually looks like a good footballer in training. As you can tell by the caption, Gouffran scores a worldy in training. And as you can tell by the image below, which shows where the number 11 and the ball are, some ungodly, mystical forces the ball curling past Tim Krul and into the far top corner of the goal. Why can't he do this when a competitive match rolls around? He must just be one of those shy players who freezes in front of big crowds. Although saying that, this one moment of sheer brilliance still doesn't justify Pards and Carvs' decision to keep picking him...
