14 Players To Represent Both Newcastle And West Ham

3. Kevin Nolan

Newcastle United: 2009-2011 League Appearances: 85 League Goals: 29 West Ham United: 2011- League Appearances: 136 League Goals: 30
Kevin Nolan scored 30 goals in 91 appearances for the Magpies between January 2009 and the summer of 2011 - yet the attacking-midfielder was shown the door by the club. Approaching his 30th birthday at the time and the captain in the dressing room as well as on the pitch, Nolan's influence was deemed to be too great - so he was shown the exit door. True Nolan has been paid generous £60,000-a-week-plus wages at West Ham United, but he was not overly keen to leave. He held an affinity with Newcastle and the Toon faithful, but you can't help but get the feeling he has a point to prove at St James' Park - and he has already scored a West Ham winner on Tyneside, during a 1-0 victory for the visitors in 2012. Could a repeat be on the cards?
Nolan has netted a further 30 league goals for the Hammers since reuniting with his former Bolton Wanderers boss Allardyce in east London, although this season he has often found himself stuck on the bench. Could Allardyce be tempted to start Nolan on his former stomping ground in the hope he pops up with another winner? It's certainly a possibility, that's for sure...
