He may have grown up a West Ham United fan but Rob Lee is a Newcastle United legend. Having signed for the club from Charlton Athletic in 1992 for £700,000, he went on to score 44 league goals in 303 appearances over 10 years. Lee was part of Keegan's Entertainers and he reached two FA Cup finals with Newcastle, as well as finishing as a Premier League runner-up on two occasions. He had a testimonial against Athletic Bilbao in 2002 as well.
However, following a short spell at Derby County, Lee moved to West Ham in 2003 and spent one season at Upton Park. He scored 16 goals in the old First Division for the Hammers, as they narrowly missed out on promotion, losing in the play-off final.
