1. Cheaters
Golf is a unique sport as it requires each player to be responsible for his or her own score. There is a great deal of integrity and honesty within the game that very few other sports can match. There is, however, something about golf among friends that brings out the absolute worst in people and makes them cheat even though they are only playing against themselves. There is nothing stranger than asking a playing partner his or her score knowing that it is a 5 and them saying that they got a 4. Cheating should have no place in sport whatsoever and should especially not have a place in a game as honest as golf. In golf, there is an expectation on players to be honest, this should not be abused. For anyone who has seen Jim Caviezel's performance as Bobby Jones in "Stroke of Genius" they will know that Bobby Jones once lost a tournament by one stroke after calling a penalty on himself for moving the ball even though nobody else saw it move. This kind of honesty needs to be preserved in golf.
