30 Reasons Why Newcastle Fans Are Jealous Of Sunderland

Black Cats are bigger than Magpies, right?

Sunderland and Newcastle. It's the biggest rivalry in the country, bar none. Celtic-Rangers is based on pure hatred, Liverpool-Everton descends into a scouse-filled cringefest, Spurs-Arsenal sees the cockney crowd watch the game through their iPad cameras, United-Liverpool is like a fight in a library and Middlesbrough versus... Well, nah. Nobody's really that bothered about Boro. The list goes on. Birmingham-Villa, Villa-West Brom, West Brom-Wolves, Wolves-Birmingham. There are too many. The passion is spread too thinly. Millwall-West Ham should be a cage match, Blackburn-Bolton may as well be played behind-closed-doors, and I almost forgot about Cardiff-Swansea because nobody really cares. Sunderland-Newcastle has everything. Intensity, drama, the right balance of passion and hatred, and occasionally a game of football breaks out, and there have been some belting goals as a result of that. It's fair to say that Newcastle fans love spouting nonsense, and will happily dribble on about their beloved 'Jerrrdy Nayyyshun'. And the media laps it up. So now it's time to break that mould and stick up for my Red and White half of the North East. We've already seen 30 Reasons Why Sunderland Fans Are Jealous Of Newcastle, so get ready for 30 reasons why Newcastle fans are jealous of their Sunderland counterparts. Tin. Hat. ON.
