It looks like being a busy deadline day for Tottenham Hotspur.

After a summer that’s seen Mauricio Pochettino’s men linked with various big-name players, Spurs could end up getting four deals over the line today as the North London club gear up to challenge for the Premier League title this season.

According to The Times’ Gary Jacob, Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon is due to have a medical at Tottenham today – and the club are also frantically working on deals for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, Real Betis playmaker Giovani lo Celso, and Nice right-back Youcef Atal.

From reports, the deal for Sessegnon will cost £25 million and see midfielder Josh Onomah move to Craven Cottage, while lo Celso would cost £55 million, Dybala £65 million, and Atal £30 million.

If the notoriously tight-fisted Daniel Levy could get these four deals finalised today, that would mark a remarkable deadline day for Tottenham.

Having reached the Champions League final last season, Levy and manager Mauricio Pochettino are clearly keen to push on and build on that success. If Spurs can pull off these deadline days coups, that’s a major statement of intent and could be the sort of signings that will see Tottenham emerge as genuine contenders to battle Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table.
