1. Luis Suarez (Liverpool)
In this case, I have decided to place the best striker in the league right at the sharp end. Luis Suarez was suspended at the start of the season due to disciplinary problems at the end of the last campaign. However despite the problem of sitting out the first few games, the Uruguayan striker has really hit the ground running. Suarez has only been able to play in 11 of Liverpools 16 Premier League fixtures, but he has still managed to score 17 goals. To put things into perspective, his closest challenger in the league has scored four goals less despite being able to play in more games than Suarez. Of course, the player isnt just about goals as he has also been able to lay on four assists for his teammates. Suarezs average rating of 8.82 is not surprisingly, the best record in the league. The Uruguayan forward is also rather adept at being a menace for any defence in the league. The fact that he averages over six shots per match certainly demonstrates that. Anyone who watches him on a regular basis will also know that he has incredible workrate. I think you will agree that all the strikers featured in this list have excellent qualities; they are all forwards that nearly every team in the Premier League would want in their team. Whats interesting is if we will be talking about the same five players at the end of the season, form does tend to shift but the quality is these players ought to be permanent.
