5 Reasons Liverpool Won't Win The League (And 1 Why They Might)

2. Inconsistent

To win the league title you must be able to string results together consecutively, pick up victories when you're not at your best and scrap through results. Liverpool haven't demonstrated they are able to do this so far this season. While they are unbeaten in the league during February, they still drew against West Brom- although other top sides did too. However, Liverpool also drew with Aston Villa and in December they lost three games- against title rivals Manchester City and Chelsea, as well as a surprise loss to Hull City. Those results were a while ago now but when you look at the fixtures Liverpool have coming up it doesn't bode in their favour. You expect Liverpool to slip up, whereas Chelsea and Manchester City look far more unlikely to do so. Liverpool could easily only manage to win one game in their fixtures next month and their displays away from home are vastly different to the performances they put in at Anfield.
