2. He Scored 11 Goals In Just 11 Premier League Starts During 2014-15

Cisse may have featured 22 times for Newcastle in the Premier League last season but he only actually started 11 games. That means that Cisse averaged a goal every start throughout 2014-15 - an astonishing record. Even the players that Newcastle are being linked with - and some of them are top-quality strikers - cannot boast a record of goals-to-starts that compares to Cisse's. Allowing a player who contributes that quantity of goals - he averaged a strike every 105 minutes last season - to leave would be, to some degree, unthinkable. Add to that the fact that we are little more than a month away from the beginning of the Premier League season and Newcastle are one of only two top-flight clubs, along with Crystal Palace, who have yet to make a summer signing. Newcastle cannot afford to sell Cisse before they buy at least one striker - and preferably two - this summer, otherwise they'll be left with just Ayoze Perez, the goal-shy Emmanuel Riviere and the youthful Adam Armstrong in their squad...
