3. Goals Galore
The Blues have more goalscoring pedigree in their side than most Premier League sides. Returning striker Romelu Lukaku scored 17 last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion, Demba Ba nabbed 15 last term for both Newcastle and Chelsea.
Fernando Torres hit a miserly 8 last year, but has had 20+ seasons in the past, and he's been improving of late. However, what's proven important to Chelsea over the years has been a high goal count from their midfield, and 2012-13 was no different, 15 from veteran Frank Lampard, 11 from Juan Mata, and 9 from Eden Hazard made it 35 league goals from their 3 key midfielders, a frankly massive contribution. With Andre Schurrle, a proven goalscorer from attacking midfield in the squad this year, it looks like their goal count, once again, will be crucial in their push for honours.
