Despite scoring 3 goals at Old Trafford and at the Emirates, Newcastle still managed to lose both encounters. It's not just the big games either, Newcastle have also lost more winnable fixtures on the road against Southampton, Stoke and Fulham. Strong home form has always been regarded as vital to staying up, but unless Newcastle start to pick up points away even an improvement in their home form might not be enough to save them.
